An online shop is more than a basket and a pay button. Once the customer pays, the work begins: stock has to drop, an invoice has to appear in your accounting software, the parcel needs a label, the buyer wants a tracking number and a few days later someone may send the item back. Suppose a natural cosmetics shop in Kranj ships 40 parcels a day and does all of this by hand, copying addresses into the courier portal and invoices into Minimax. Two people spend half their working day on what the shop could do by itself. That is why we plan a store from order to return, not from home page to payment.
Cards through a provider such as Bankart, Monri or Stripe with 3-D Secure, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Flik, UPN QR for paying against a pro forma, and cash on delivery if you wish to offer it. You sign with the payment provider; we build the technical link.
Delivery and parcel lockers
A choice of Pošta Slovenije, GLS, DPD or Express One, collection from a parcel locker, labels generated automatically and a tracking number in the customer email. For shipments abroad, rates by country and weight.
Invoicing and stock
Each order creates an invoice in Minimax, Metakocka or Pantheon, and stock stays in step with your software. Manual copying stops.
VAT and prices
VAT rates per product, prices including VAT for consumers and excluding VAT for businesses that register with a VAT number. How to treat sales to other EU countries is a question for your accountant; we configure the shop on their instructions.
Legal texts and withdrawal
Terms of sale, pre-contract information, a withdrawal form and a returns process your team completes in a few clicks. Your lawyer approves the wording; we make sure it appears at the right points in checkout.
Speed and mobile checkout
Most purchases start on a phone. Product pages and the basket must load quickly, guest checkout must be possible and the address form should not ask for anything unnecessary.
How the work runs
We test the shop with realistic orders in staging first and only then open it to customers.
01
Mapping the process
On a video call we sketch the order journey together, from payment to invoice, dispatch and return, and spot where data is being retyped today and what can go.
02
Product structure
We set up categories, variants, filter attributes and the product import from your software or a spreadsheet, often tidying data that has piled up over the years.
03
Build and integrations
The shop is developed at a staging address while we connect payments, couriers and accounting. You place orders with test cards and check the invoices.
04
Launch and first week
Go-live, a few genuine orders with a real card, then a close watch on orders, payments and labels during the first week so any fault is caught fast.
Cash on delivery is still popular in Slovenia, but it carries costs. The courier charges a surcharge, some parcels are never collected and the money reaches you later. Before you decide, we work out what COD really costs you and suggest ways to limit it, for instance only up to a certain order value or only for returning customers.
Your questions answered
WooCommerce covers most shops with a few hundred or a few thousand products and ordinary sales rules. We suggest a custom build or Magento for very large catalogues, complex pricing and many ERP connections. We also weigh up who will maintain the shop three years from now.
Your accounting software can send invoices in eSLOG 2.0 format through the exchange provider you choose. We link the shop to that software so business customer details arrive correctly. We do not issue e-invoices ourselves.
Your lawyer writes or reviews them, since they depend on your delivery, returns and warranty terms. We make sure buyers see and accept them at the right checkout step and that the withdrawal form works.
Yes. Products, customers and order history are migrated, and old product URLs are redirected. Customer passwords usually cannot be carried over, so customers get a reset link the first time they sign in.
It depends on the size of the range, the payment and delivery integrations and the accounting link. After the video call you receive a phased quote; extra work is billed at €50 per hour plus VAT.
Let us know what you sell, how many orders you expect and which software you already use. Within one working day we will reply with questions and a suggested time for a video call.
No town by that name here. Check the letters, or settle for the nearest larger place. Our engineers work only over the internet, so Kočevje and Koper get precisely the same treatment.
We set essential cookies only: the ones that keep the site running and recall which town you chose. Nothing for ads and nothing that follows you around the web. Details are in our privacy and data protection notice.
