Network and telephony
These days your phones and your network are one and the same thing. When the Wi-Fi in the meeting room drops, it is not only email that freezes but also the customer call you picked up in Teams. When the operator's router reboots in the morning, the card terminal stops, the clinic cannot issue an e-prescription and the front desk misses a call from a new client. That is why we treat the two together. Apply measures your network, monitors it and moves telephony to the cloud, all over secured remote access. We do not visit and we do not sell equipment. When something needs plugging in or swapping, your colleague or a contractor of your choosing does it, guided by our instructions and a video call.
Services in this area
Each can be ordered on its own. If you are starting from scratch, the sensible sequence is measurements first, then ongoing monitoring, and telephony last, once it is clear the line beneath it will hold up.
Network analysis
Before you sign a quote for new hardware or a faster line. We measure where traffic gets stuck, list every device and produce fixes ranked by urgency.
Network monitoring
For businesses where an outage brings work to a halt. Lines, firewall, VPN tunnels, switches and access points stay under watch, and we report operator faults on your behalf.
VoIP and Teams Phone
When the old PBX in the cabinet starts holding you back. Your operator ports the numbers, and we configure call routing, apps and handsets so a call finds its person in the office, at home or out on the road.
Rebuilding your network without setting foot in it
The split is clear. Configuration, testing and documentation are our job. Cabling, mounting and buying hardware sit with you or your contractor, backed by instructions that make sense even to someone without an IT background.
A video call at the cabinet
A colleague uses a phone to show what is inside the comms cabinet and where the access points hang. We note down models, labels and connections that remote access cannot reveal.
Device map
An agent on the network finds everything plugged in. We compare the result with your own inventory, and for each unknown device we work out together whose it is and whether it still belongs there.
The new layout
We draw up the segment plan, IP addressing and switch port allocation. If anything is missing, you get a specification your supplier can quote against.
Switch-over at an agreed hour
The contractor repatches cables following the table while we load configurations over video and test each segment from a staff device. Monitoring goes live the same evening, and the documentation is filed in your password manager.
A supplier's remote access often stays open for years. The till engineer, the air-conditioning firm or the developer of your business software was once given standing access to your network so they could help without a visit. The contract ended, but the access stayed, sometimes behind one shared password known to the supplier's whole team. During the overhaul we list every such entry point, shut the unnecessary ones and move the rest to personal accounts with multi-factor sign-in and time limits.
Backup connectivity: how much is enough
Compare two figures: what an hour without internet costs you, and what a second line costs per month. The examples below are only a starting point; we settle the right level with you.
Two operators in the same duct are not a real backup. If both lines enter the building through the same cable duct, one excavator on the neighbouring plot can cut them together. When ordering a second line, ask the operator which route it takes into the building and, where possible, pick a different technology, such as fibre plus mobile. We then configure automatic failover on the firewall and test it once a quarter.
Frequently asked questions
Each engineer has a personal account with multi-factor sign-in; shared passwords are not used. Connections run through encrypted remote access, and every login and configuration change is logged. You receive a written list of who has access and can suspend or revoke it at any time. If we stop working together, we hand over all passwords and documentation.
Usually with VPN on the firewall and sign-in through Microsoft Entra ID or another directory with multi-factor authentication. Each person sees only what their job requires: the accountant gets the business software, the salesperson the quotes folder. If the team already does most of its work in the cloud, VPN can sometimes be dropped in favour of conditional access. The home working agreement under ZDR-1 is for your HR team; we take care of the technical side.
We neither sell nor install equipment, but we do recommend it. You get a specification listing the required features and one or two suitable models, and you buy from a supplier of your choice. Since we earn nothing on the purchase, we have no reason to suggest more than you need. Once the device arrives, your colleague connects it following our guide and we handle the configuration.
As a rule, yes. The operator you choose ports the numbers, following rules supervised by AKOS. Apply is not an operator and does not assign numbers, so the contract for them is signed directly with the operator. We prepare the request details, agree the date and set up the phone system, apps and handsets. How long the port takes depends on both operators, so we plan the switch-over day with some slack.
It stays connected on porting day until the operator confirms every number has moved. After that it can be switched off, and your contractor or electrician removes it. Beforehand we export whatever is still useful: the extension list, greetings and divert rules. If no alarm or lift relies on it, the job is done; if one does, arrange the new connection with whoever maintains it.

An engineer will write back no later than the following working day. Faults that leave your staff unable to work are always looked at first.
- Questions first. If something is missing before we can estimate, we email you or set up a brief video chat.
- A written quote. It spells out the work, a euro figure excluding VAT and a sensible start date. No fine print, no surprise line items down the road.
- You choose. It lands in your mailbox. Read it at your own pace, query anything that seems vague, and only then make up your mind.
