Area 18 · Software and training

Training

A good share of helpdesk tickets are not breakdowns but questions. Can I send a link to the folder instead of attaching ten files? Why does the new laptop not recognise the certificate we use for eDavki? Was that early-morning text demanding a parcel fee real? Answering any single one is quick; added up, they swallow hours each week, and occasionally one of them lets a fraudster in. Our sessions are taught live by video, using the software your staff open every morning. No generic slides: we work in your own folders and documents, on the issues that keep recurring in your office. Afterwards people work a bit more securely and need the helpdesk a bit less.

Topics in highest demand

Six themes that small businesses, accountancy firms, law offices and medical practices request time after time. Each delivery is unique, because the material is rebuilt around the booking company's own applications and incidents.

Microsoft 365 day to day

For all staff. Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint used so that a document exists once and nobody has to ask “Is this the final version?”. Companies on Google Workspace get the equivalent session built on Drive and Meet.

Phishing and payment fraud

For all staff. Fake delivery texts, “your tax refund is ready” emails, supplier invoices with a different IBAN slipped in, and a so-called director who suddenly needs a transfer within the hour.

Digital certificates, eDavki and e-invoices

For accounts, the front office and administration. Getting a qualified digital certificate working on a replacement PC, submissions through eDavki, AJPES authorisations, and eSLOG e-invoices sent via your existing exchange provider. Scheduled before closing week, never during it.

CRM and sales discipline

For the sales team. Customer agreements are logged in the CRM rather than scribbled in a notebook that lives in someone's car. Callback dates and email marketing consents are recorded properly, all in one place.

Copilot and other AI assistants

For marketing, customer service and finance. Drafting and condensing text more quickly while keeping personal data and confidential business details out of tools that should never see them. We also go through what the Information Commissioner has said about AI.

Systems and security

For staff who run IT on top of their real job. Handling accounts, backup checks, network basics and access rights independently, instead of raising a ticket with an external firm for each minor change.

Documented training is also evidence. Under GDPR, keeping employees informed about handling personal data is one of the organisational measures a controller is expected to take. Organisations working to ISO 27001 principles want awareness activities on file, and for essential and important entities covered by NIS2 and ZInfV-1, staff training belongs among the appropriate measures. The AI Act, in turn, asks businesses that deploy AI to ensure their people grasp the tools in use. Our programme, with dates, topics and an informal attendance list, can be filed with your documentation. Your security officer or lawyer decides whether that suffices for you.

From kick-off call to one-page guides

The calendar is yours to set. Here is what happens in between, and when we need input from your side.

01

Understanding the real need

We talk to the person ordering the training and send attendees a questionnaire that takes five minutes. Grouping follows ability, not position.

02

Content and timetable

A written plan arrives listing each session's aims, length and slot. Teams are never booked during closing week, the annual accounts rush or their peak season.

03

Live sessions

Invitations go straight into calendars. If an error on production data would hurt, we set up a test login or a dummy copy with invented records in advance.

04

Materials and short guides

You keep a log of completed sessions, any recordings you ordered and single-page how-tos for future hires. Everything remains your property.

Frequently asked questions

No, we only train online. Staff may sit together in a meeting room with a big screen and a speakerphone, or each log in at their workstation, which is better for hands-on tasks. Nobody at a branch, out on site or working from home spends hours commuting to attend.

Around a dozen, so each person can try things and raise questions. A phishing awareness talk, which is mostly demonstration, can take more. For SharePoint or Excel, larger groups quickly mean less learning for all.

Through recordings split into short topic clips and written step-by-step guides, which most firms find sufficient. When a batch of new people arrives together, one compact induction session beats rerunning the full course.

If you ask, we supply an informal list of attendees with dates and subjects, suitable for filing alongside your data protection, security or AI awareness documentation. This is not a vendor credential or a formal qualification, and Apply is not an accredited training institution; we make that clear before booking.

Schemes like those of the Slovene Enterprise Fund, digitalisation vouchers or EU-funded calls each have their own rules, often covering the provider as well. Apply is not an authorised adviser for any of them, does not write applications and cannot promise funding, so confirm eligibility with whoever runs the scheme. Our rates are the usual ones: €50 an hour plus VAT for businesses, €45 an hour incl. VAT for private clients learning one to one. The full programme cost is agreed upfront.
