Take the office administrator at an architecture practice in Kranj with eleven staff. Alongside invoices, travel claims and incoming post, she has quietly become the IT department because nobody else was around: Microsoft 365 accounts, the shared project drive, the office Wi-Fi, the backups. She was never taught how these work, and she worries a wrong click will bring something down. Generic group courses miss the mark, since their exercises look nothing like her office. She needs a specialist who opens her actual systems with her over screen sharing, explains each screen and lets her do the clicking. That, in short, is what we offer one to one. It equally suits administrators wanting to deepen their skills, staff taking over from a departing IT person, and private clients keen to finally understand the home network or are retraining for an IT job. Apply holds all sessions over video with screen sharing; nobody visits your home or office.
Bookkeeper, office manager or co-owner: creating and removing Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace users, a shared mailbox, licence assignment and re-registering multi-factor sign-in for a colleague who changed phones, all without anyone being locked out. We also list the passwords, domains and contracts the previous administrator left behind.
A laptop arrives, a phone goes missing
Using Intune and Entra ID so a fresh laptop picks up company settings at first boot, and remotely locking and wiping a work phone forgotten on the Ljubljana to Maribor train.
Practising a restore
Knowing where backups are stored is only half of it. You personally recover one deleted file and then a full folder, both from the NAS and from cloud storage, and learn where to confirm that the overnight job really completed.
Router, wireless and cameras
The management page of the router supplied by your internet provider, a guest network kept apart, and why port forwarding is the wrong way to reach a camera recorder from outside.
Habits that beat fraud
Keeping an eye on SI-CERT alerts, switching to a password manager, extra approval steps in online banking, and telling real parcel or tax notices from fakes.
Home and family
Getting to grips with your home network, keeping phone photos backed up, hardening your parents' phones against fraudsters and wiping an old device properly before listing it on Bolha.
Changing career into IT
An honest starting route, a home lab of virtual machines on your computer, and solving together the practical exercises typical of entry-level interviews.
How the work runs
Sessions last at least sixty minutes and usually happen weekly or twice a week. Rates: businesses €50 an hour plus VAT; private clients €45 an hour incl. VAT, with a standalone remote support session starting at €35 incl. VAT.
01
Three sentences to start
Use the form to say who you are, what systems you work with and what has to be done this month. The first session is planned around that.
02
Straight into a live job
Hour one goes on something real: setting up a new starter, a printer share that stopped working, a disk running out of space. You share your screen and drive the mouse; we step in before anything irreversible.
03
Building on it
Later sessions begin by briefly revisiting the last task, then move on to the next topic. Anything risky is tried first on a test account.
04
Writing your manual
To close, you note down the procedure you just learned, phrased your way, and we check it. Stuck midweek? Drop us an email.
Demonstrations fade; notes you write yourself stick. So every session closes with a short procedure for the new task, worded by you. A few weeks in, you own an IT handbook that is really used. When you take leave, the colleague standing in has something to follow. It is the quietest benefit of one-to-one training, and the longest-lasting.
Your questions answered
Absolutely; this format suits beginners best. Jargon is explained through your daily work and you decide how fast we go. Before we change any real setting, we confirm together that a fresh backup is in place.
Quick questions are fine by email. If it needs real troubleshooting, we book it as its own support call, invoiced apart from your training hours.
It builds the hands-on skills, because everything happens in a working environment. The exam is booked separately with Microsoft or a licensed test provider. We hand out no certificates of any kind and are not an accredited educational institution.
By card through a payment link sent before we meet: €45 an hour incl. VAT, or a standalone remote support session starting at €35 incl. VAT. Ask and we will email an invoice.
Sure, record it locally on your machine. Close any window showing other people's data beforehand. Where the file is stored is entirely up to you.
