Let us take a Novo mesto manufacturer of cycling kit. Its PrestaShop store has been joined over time by Amazon.de, then eBay, with Allegro and Amazon.it under consideration and listings already live on Ceneje.si. Jerseys come in five sizes and three colours; a single saddlebag design comes in three volumes. Inventory gets adjusted manually twice a day. On a busy Saturday the final medium helmet is bought on Amazon and on the company site inside sixty minutes. Someone must cancel, the account health score suffers and listings sink in search. Meanwhile commissions, shipping and payout schedules vary by channel, so one product makes a profit in one place and a loss elsewhere, unnoticed for weeks. Integration fixes this. Catalogue data has a single home, inventory is pooled, prices are derived from each channel's real costs and orders appear in the picking screen your team knows. Everything is configured and supported remotely, and nothing about your physical warehouse workflow has to change.
Uploading listings takes little effort. Variants, attribute mapping, commission-aware prices and returns re-entering inventory are where the work lies.
Amazon in Germany, Italy and further European storefronts, eBay, Allegro, Etsy for handmade exports, the Ceneje.si comparison engine and Bolha.com classifieds. Category structures, required fields and delivery and return policies differ by channel; we map them to your catalogue a single time.
Multichannel software versus native API
For a fast launch managing many channels from one screen, we deploy and tune a recognised multichannel tool. Large volumes or bespoke logic call for a native connection to each marketplace API.
Listings and variations
EANs, brands, colours, sizes, materials, sizing tables and photos, formatted to each channel's spec. Amazon's required fields differ from Allegro's, and listings rejected for missing data are collected for you to fix.
Ceneje.si feed
An XML feed for the comparison engine carries current price, availability, lead time and postage. Out-of-stock lines vanish from it automatically, so you never pay for clicks on something unavailable.
Inventory and reserve
Every channel reads from one inventory figure. Scarce lines keep a configurable reserve, and ahead of a promotion you may ring-fence units for one channel.
Price logic
Per-channel prices account for commission, fulfilment, international postage and payout delay. A minimum you define can never be undercut.
Orders, returns, payouts
Sales from all channels converge on a single queue in the store, accounting package or WMS. Tracking IDs are returned to each marketplace within its deadline. Accepted returns go back into inventory, and settlements are split into sales, commission and deductions.
How the work runs
Channel one is the heaviest lift because catalogue and inventory get cleaned up then. Additional channels follow far more quickly.
01
Catalogue audit
Missing EANs, badly structured variations, images below marketplace resolution limits: all fixed prior to launch.
02
Linking listings
Products are paired with marketplace listings via EAN and SKU. Doubtful category or attribute matches are verified manually.
03
Full trial
One genuine order: inventory decrement, invoice, label, tracking, followed by a return and restock.
04
Gradual rollout
Clean-data products go first; the remainder follows after a fortnight free of errors and oversells. Cancellation and late-dispatch rates are watched jointly throughout.
Copying your web shop price to every marketplace is a mistake. Commission weighs heaviest on one channel, international postage or fulfilment fees on another, and payout timing varies across all of them. A uniform price means a silent loss wherever costs run highest. Give each channel its own cost formula and anchor the minimum to purchase cost from your accounts. The integration recalculates whenever a price changes.
Your questions answered
That depends on your product category. Certain categories have one dominant channel; in crowded ones a new seller has no realistic way to win on price. We propose a sequence after looking at seller counts and price bands for your top products.
It compares prices and forwards shoppers to your store rather than selling on your behalf. Checkout happens on your site, so feed accuracy is critical. A shopper who meets a higher price than the comparison site promised will leave.
Not always. Across many channels such tools save a great deal of development, at a recurring monthly cost. For one or two channels with stable logic, a native connection frequently recovers its cost fast. We model both using your real volumes.
Exactly like store sales. Pay attention to commission invoices issued by the marketplace and to settlement deductions so they hit the correct accounts. Your accountant fixes the rules; we transfer the data into Minimax, Pantheon or Metakocka.
One catalogue can serve them, though language, storefront currency, delivery promises and customs deserve separate attention. Agree customs and export VAT treatment with a customs agent and your accountant; our part is ensuring the system outputs what they need.
List your current channels, the marketplaces you are weighing up and the system that holds inventory. We will recommend multichannel software or native connections and outline a schedule.
